- Hi-de-Hi!: The breakthrough moment in Su Pollard’s career came with her role as Peggy Ollerenshaw in the BBC sitcom “Hi-de-Hi!” The series, set in a holiday camp, ran from 1980 to 1988. Pollard’s portrayal of the eccentric chalet maid Peggy became iconic, and the show’s popularity catapulted her to widespread recognition.
