How did Sergey Brin meet Nicole Shanahan?

Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan met around 2015 and their first public appearance as a couple didn’t come until the Met Ball in May 2016, when the two reportedly carpooled together.

The couple married in November 2018. They have a daughter together and have been separated since December 15, 2021, according to court filings submitted in Santa Clara County, California.

According to reports, Shanahan had an affair with Elon Musk. Musk and Brin were previously longtime friends with Brin even giving $500,000 for Tesla during the 2008 financial crisis.

The Wall Street Journal also reported that Musk said over the years that he “regularly crashed” at Brin’s home in Silicon Valley.
