Calvert’s legacy goes beyond just his late-in-life fatherhood. He leaves behind a loving family, including six other children, in addition to Charlotte and Jamie. They reside in the family’s cozy cottage in Colne, Lancashire.
What truly made Raymond’s story stand out was the age gap between him and Charlotte.
Despite the significant age difference, he consistently maintained that it was never an issue for them.
After the birth of Jamie Rai, Mr. Calvert expressed his immense joy, stating, “I am the most fortunate man in the world. It makes me feel 10ft tall. The baby was planned, and I did not use Viagra or anything like that. I didn’t actually think at my age that it would be possible to have a child, but he’s a beautiful little fella. I feel blessed.”
Tragically, Calvert passed away at the Royal Preston Hospital after a fall.
