Following a brief arrest in Georgia, Playboi Carti was released on bond. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC), the rapper was arrested in 2020 on gun and drug charges.

Carti, whose real name is Jordan Carter, was stopped by police on April 2 2020 in Clayton County, Georgia, for having an expired tag on his Lamborghini. Deputies discovered three firearms, 12 bags of marijuana, Xanax, codeine, and oxycodone in the vehicle after pulling it over. Playboi Carti was arrested and taken to Clayton County jail.

Playboi Carti is a rapper from the United States. Carter was signed to Awful Records, a local underground label, before joining ASAP Mob’s AWGE Label under Interscope Records.
