How did Mila and Ashton hook up? How old was Ashton Kutcher when he met his wife?

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher first met in 1998 on the set of That ’70s Show, when she was just 14 and he was 19. In a 2018 episode of Maron’s “WTF” podcast, Kunis told the host that she and Kutcher started hooking up at the beginning of 2012.

She explained that two of them had been in movies with similar plot lines about two people trying to make a “friends with benefits” relationship work and so they lived their lives out.

In her own words:

“I did a movie called ‘Friends With Benefits.’ He did a movie that was very similar called ‘No Strings Attached.’ We lived our movies out. “We were just like, let’s just hook up. Let’s have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great.”

In 1998, Mila Kunis was cast as Jackie Burkhart in the Fox sitcom That ’70s Show which ran for eight seasons. Kunis won two consecutive Young Star Awards as Best Young Actress in a Comedy TV Series in 1999 and 2000 for her performances in That ’70s Show.
