How did Matt Hancock’s wife find out he was having an affair?

British politician, Matt Hancock had an affair with his aide, Gina Coladangelo which ended his 15 years of marriage. His wife, Martha Hoyer Millar found out about the affair when a CCTV footage of Hancock and Gina got leaked.

In the video, Gina and Hancock were seen kissing when Hancock himself had imposed social distancing rules imposed to contain the coronavirus pandemic. His wife reportedly had no idea about the affair until Hancock broke the news to him and their children.

The news got out in May 2021, and by June, the tabloids had already gotten hold of them. Gina and Hancock stepped down from their positions. Hancock reportedly relocated while Gina was also spotted leaving the 4.5 million GBP London pad she shared with her husband, Oliver Truss, the founder of Oliver Bonas.

Hancock was also seen packing all his belongings from his family home by the end of July 2021. However, his relationship with Gina seems to be still very much alive. They were pictured spending holidays together in Switzerland and Croatia after the massive scandal.

His wife, Martha reportedly liked a tweet which was against Hancock by comedian, David Baddiel.

“The problem with a narcissist being in power is his whole life, he will have been doing the leaving. Of women, of children, of messes, he created: he will have decided to leave. He will not have been left. And still, he can’t imagine it. he thinks he only leaves when he wants to,” he wrote.
