Kerry Gene Adkisson, better known by his ring as Kerry Von Erich, was a professional wrestler from the United States. He was a member of the Von Erich wrestling family.

He is best known for his eleven-year stint with his father’s promotion of World Class Championship Wrestling and his tenure in the World Wrestling Federation as The Texas Tornado.
Kerry committed suicide on his father’s ranch on February 18, 1993, just 15 days after his 33rd birthday, with a single gunshot to the heart.
He was discovered by his father Fritz, who reported that his last words to him were “Dad, I love you” before hugging him and walking to the woods to commit himself.

Kerry Von Erich’s life was forever changed after a motorcycle accident in 1986. The WWE Hall of Famer and one of a number of renowned Von Erich’s to have become headliners in the wrestling world, Kerry tragically committed suicide aged just 33 back in 1993.
