Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker, Jaylon Ferguson has died at the age of 26. This was announced by the team.

Ferguson died in Baltimore, according to his agent, Safarrah Lawson. No cause of death has been given yet.

Ferguson was a third-round pick by the Ravens in 2019, he participated in all of the team’s offseason practices this year. It appeared that he had worked hard to be in the best shape of his career, dropping a significant amount of weight.

In Week 4 of the 2020 season against the Washington Football Team, Ferguson recorded his first sack of the season on Dwayne Haskins during the 31-17 win. Ferguson was placed on the reserve/ COVID-19 list by the Ravens on November 28, 2020, and activated two days later.
