In a heartbreaking turn of events, Garrison Brown, the beloved son of Sister Wives stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has tragically passed away at the young age of 25.

The Flagstaff Police Department responded to a call on March 5, 2024, reporting a death inside a home. Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II confirmed to PEOPLE that Garrison’s brother, Gabriel, made the heartbreaking discovery of his brother’s passing.

The circumstances surrounding Garrison’s death were revealed to be an apparent suicide. In a statement issued to PEOPLE, TLC, the network behind Sister Wives, expressed their devastation at the tragic loss of Garrison Brown.

Lieutenant Hernandez emphasized that there is currently no indication of foul play, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Garrison’s passing.
