How Did Jak Knight Die?

Late American stand-up comedian and Screenwriter, Jak Knight died at in home in Los Angeles, on Thursday, July 14, 2022. He was aged 28.

The exact cause of his death is still unknown.

The news of his death was made public by members of his family.

Who Was Jak Knight?

Jak Knight, was a co-creator of the Peacock series ‘Bust Down’.

He had written five seasons of the award-winning Netflix series ‘Big Mouth’ and ABC’s ‘Black-ish’.

Jak has also been a writer on the Fox animated series “Lucas Bros”, which was released in 2013.

He was also the writer of Roku Channel sketch comedy series “Immoral Compass,” and “Big Mouth”.

In 2021, Jak partnered with comedian Jaybyo produce a late night show tagged “Pause With Sam Jay”, of which he wrote seven episodes.

On the comedy scene, Jak became a sensation in 2014 with the stand-up comedy show, Comedy Central Comic to Watch as well as the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival.

Before his death, Jak had just completed filming on “First Time Female Director,” which happens to be his first film.
