How did FBG Cash die?

FBG Cash was reportedly shot and killed in Chicago early Friday, June 10 morning. According to a report, the 31-year-old was fatally shot inside a vehicle in the 1600 block of West 81st Street. A woman who was also in the vehicle at the time was wounded and transferred to a local hospital in bad condition.

Cook County officials later identified the individual as Tristian Hamilton, a.k.a. FBG Cash, after being brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center with “several gunshot wounds,” he was confirmed dead.

The Chicago Police Department representative stated that the suspect was driving a black four-door sedan. The unidentified assailant stepped out of the automobile and opened fire, killing the rapper and injuring the 29-year-old woman with “gunshot wounds to the left arm and upper back.”

The man then exited the scene and returned to his vehicle. An investigation is now underway.

The rapper, who was 31 at the time of his death, was known for rapping over drill sounds. Cash was born Tristan Hamilton in the “O Block” neighbourhood of South Chicago.
