Soccer goalkeeper Brad Guzan had collided with Gabriel Segal inside the scoring area, during a game against New York City FC, sometime in April 2023.

The collision made Guzan suffer a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee, which kept him out of play for weeks.

Is Brad Guzan coming back?

Guzan is back now and played against Inter Milan on July 25, 2023.

Who Is Brad Guzan?

Brad Guzan is a soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for football league club Atlanta United FC.

Born on September 9, 1984, in Illinois, United States, Guzan has played for various clubs in Major League Soccer (MLS), and has made a name for himself as a standout goalkeeper.

He has also played in the English Premier League and in the English Football League Championship.

Guzan has so far played for South Carolina Gamecocks, Chicago Fire Premier, Chivas USA, Aston Villa, Hull City, Middlesbrough, Atlanta United, and United States Olympic.

Guzan has been a significant part of the United States Men’s National Soccer Team. He has represented the US in various international matches, including the FIFA World Cup, the Olympics, and the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

He made his senior debut for the United States in 2006, and has made 64 appearances for the country.

He has helped the team win three CONCACAF Gold Cups, and played for them at the Olympics, Copa América, the FIFA Confederations Cup and the Copa América Centenario.
