How did Arlana Miller kill herself?

Arlana Miller died by drowning. Her body was found in the Mississippi River after officials started looking for her. Arlana Miller was a 19 freshman from Texas and a member of the Southern University and A&M College cheerleading squad

“On May 4, 2022, at approximately 9 p.m., the Southern University Athletic Department was notified of a social media post that resulted in this unfortunate announcement,” according to the statement.

She allegedly made a final Instagram post in which she discussed dying and her history of suicidal thoughts.

Arlana gave several reasons for her suicide. According to her post, she was never satisfied with her life and struggled with suicidal thoughts for a long time. She also stated that the suicide attempt was pushed back because she chose to fight the situations in her life.

In her post, Miller also mentioned her battle with coronavirus and a recent health issue. This year’s complications were exacerbated by her failing classes and tearing of ACL tissue.
