Adam Carolla is an American radio personality, comedian, actor, and podcaster. He hosts The Adam Carolla Show, a talk show distributed as a podcast that set the record as the “most downloaded podcast” as judged by Guinness World Records in 2011.

Carolla has also appeared on the network reality television programs Dancing with the Stars and The Celebrity Apprentice.

His book In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks debuted on The New York Times Best Seller list in 2010, and his second book, Not Taco Bell Material, also reached New York Times bestseller status.

How did Adam Carolla get famous?

Drew (Drew Pinsky, the original and current host of the Loveline radio show) heard Adam and liked his style. In 1995, Drew gave Adam the job of co-hosting Loveline on the radio.

It was at this time that Loveline became syndicated nationally in the USA.

Adam began his career on the nationally syndicated radio program LOVELINE with Dr. Drew Pinsky.

MTV developed a television version of the show, which was co-hosted by Adam and Dr. Drew for five seasons (1996-2000).
