Ford Evanson is an American actor and the ex-husband of Hope Davis an American actress. The couple were married from 1987 to 1996. Ford Evanson is known for The Violent Garden (1990) and The Daytrippers (1996).

Davis made her film debut in the early 1990s with minor roles in films like “Flatliners” and “Home Alone.” However, her breakthrough role came in the mid-1990s when she played the lead role in the indie film “The Daytrippers.”

Some of her other  notable films include “About Schmidt,” “Proof,” “Synecdoche, New York,” and “Captain America: Civil War.” Davis has also acted in several television shows and miniseries, including “Deadline,” “Six Degrees,” and “Wayward Pines.”

Davis has won several awards and nominations for her work in film and television. She received a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in “American Splendor” and a Tony nomination for her role in the Broadway production of “God of Carnage.”

She was also awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for her narration work in the documentary “The Untold History of the United States.”
