Eric Cole won $915,600 with the runner-up finish at the Honda Classic 2023.

Entering 2023 The Honda Classic, Cole was 107th in FedEx Cup points and ranked 330th in the Official World Golf Ranking. He earned his way into the event after finishing in the top 25 in the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
Cole finished second (2nd) at the Honda Classic on the PGA Tour after tying Chris Kirk at 14-under par 266 at PGA National Members Club. On the first playoff hole, Kirk hit a wedge to a foot while Cole was over the green in 2. Cole hit his bunker shot to 10 feet and lipped out the birdie putt that would have extended the playoff.

Besides winning the money, the 34-year-old golf star rose to 33rd in the FedEx Cup standings, putting himself in a remarkable position to keep his card for next season. He also has a sponsor’s exemption into the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, which is starting from March 2 to March 5, 2023.
Eric Cole turned professional in 2009 and won the first Minor League Golf Tour event he played in at Quail Ridge. Since then he has won 56 times and has a scoring average of 68.85.
