Holly Marie Willoughby was born on February 10, 1981, in Brighton, United Kingdom as the younger of two daughters of Brian Willoughby (a sales manager) and Linda Willoughby Fleming (a former air stewardess).
Holly Willoughby schooled at the independent Burgess Hill Girls in the town of Burgess Hill in West Sussex, and later at The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham. She got discovered by talent scouts at The Clothes Show Live exhibition in 1995.

Holly Willoughby began her career as a model at the age of 14, signing with the model agency, Storm Management. She has appeared in teen magazines for girls such as Mizz, Just Seventeen, Shout, More!, and Pretty Polly.
Holly Willoughby served as a team captain on ITV2’s Celebrity Juice alongside Fearne Cotton from 2008 to 2020.
