Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record for longest cooking time – Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, has broken the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual.”

On Monday morning, the chef broke the 87-hour-45-minute record set by now-former Guinness World Record holder Lata Tondon in 2019.
Hilda began the challenge on Thursday, May 11 at 4 p.m., when she turned on her stove.
Despite having broken the record, Hilda continues her quest to cook for 96 hours, setting a new world record as the first human on the planet to do so.
Government officials, celebrities, pastors, and other well-meaning Nigerians have continued to show their support for the foodpreneur.

Who is Hilda Baci?
Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, is a Nigerian chef and YouTube video creator, host, TV producer, and foodpreneur born on September 20, 1996, in Akwa Ibom State.
Bacci attended Madonna University Okija and majored in Sociology and her story has so far been one of tenacity and perseverance.
Hilda began her profession as a chef in 2020, and she has since established a reputation for herself as well as a brand.
