Herbert Vollrath Kohler Jr., an American billionaire businessman, a member of the Kohler family of Wisconsin, and the executive chairman of the Kohler Company, a manufacturing company in Kohler, Wisconsin, best known for its plumbing products has died.

During his 43-year span as CEO, he transformed his family-owned company into a world leader, with more than 40,000 employees and dozens of manufacturing facilities on six continents.

Kohler’s s second wife was Natalie Black, a Stanford University graduate who joined Kohler in 1985 as a lawyer, rising to general counsel and senior vice president of communications.
