Heather Payne is an international footballer who has played for the Republic of Ireland women’s national team since 2015.
Payne has made 35 appearances for Ireland, scoring one goal.
She participated in the Ireland senior squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup-qualifying match in 2019, in which she played as a wing-back.

Payne now plays as a forward / midfielder for American collegiate team Florida State Seminoles.
She joined the Seminoles on scholarship in 2019, making 60 appearances and scoring 6 goals.
Since then, she has appeared in a number of National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) tournaments.
In 2021, she won the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship.
Payne has also played for other clubs including the Irish side Peamount United F.C and Bristol City, where she made 9 appearances.
Payne had spent three seasons with Peamount United, before moving to Bristol City in 2018.
