Heather Elizabeth Morris is an actress, dancer, singer, and model from the United States. In the Fox musical comedy-drama series Glee, she played Brittany S. Pierce.

Morris made her first notable appearance on So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 in 2006, where she made it through “Vegas Week” without being cut, but was eliminated from the top 20 by a vote of 3 to 2.
Morris was attending acting classes and actively pursuing an acting career when Woodlee requested her to teach the Glee performers the choreography for Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” dance. At the same time, the show was looking for a third cheerleader, and Morris was cast as Brittany.

Heather Morris was born in Thousand Oaks, California, USA, on February 1, 1987. Her father’s name was Randolf Bruce Morris and she lost him to cancer before her freshman year when she was only fourteen years old.
She was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, along with her sisters April and Crystal. Growing up without her father changed how Heather viewed life and she went into depression.
She turned away from social life and it was through her dance that she found solace in life.
