Former basketball player, Dwayne Wade has finally spoken after his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches said in court that he is trying to make money from their transgender daughter who has changed their name to Zaya.

Funches submitted an objection to the court on Tuesday [November 1, 2022] requesting that Zaya Wade should wait till they reach the age of maturity before they change their identity, name, and other documents.

Wade has now acknowledged this situation for the first time and addressed it properly. he took to social media to release a statement on it.
“Since this must be the new way of parenting, I guess I have to address these allegations here, which is a damn shame. While I’m on a life-changing trip in our motherland, Africa, I’ve received a social media post about me forcing our 15-year-old child to be someone she’s not and to do something against her will. These are serious and harmful allegations that have hurt our children,” Wade wrote in the post.
