With a time of 21.63 seconds, Schippers, the sixth-fastest female athlete in history over 200 meters, holds the European record. She also shares the Dutch marks in the 60-meter indoor and 4-by-100-meter relay, along with the records for the 100 meters and long jump.

She earned the gold medal at the 2015 World Championships, the silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the Diamond League championship in 2016, and the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships.

Dafne Schippers, who won a silver medal in the 200-meter race at the Olympics and two world crowns in the event, has announced her retirement. After defeating the Jamaican in Beijing 2015, the Dutch sprinter placed second behind Elaine Thompson-Herah in the 200m at Rio 2016.
