The former University of Alabama standout and native Texan will make her third consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start after surviving a 4-for-3 playoff at The Clubs at Houston Oaks. She posted a 36-hole total of 3-under 139 (69-70). The three-time first-team All-American and 2017 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year owns one professional victory, the 2019 Volunteers of America Classic. Knight, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Freshman of the Year in 2015-16, carded a final-round 66 to beat Jaye Marie Green and Brittany Altomare by two strokes.
