Labonte won the NASCAR Cup Series in 2000. He drove the No. 18 Interstate Batteries Pontiac to the top of NASCAR in 2000, winning the Winston Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing.

As of 2006, Labonte is the only driver to have won both the NASCAR Winston Cup championship (2000) and the NASCAR Busch Series championship (1991).

He and his older brother, Terry Labonte, are one of only two sets of brothers to have both won the Cup along with Kurt Busch and Kyle Busch.

Bobby also won the IROC championship in 2001. Labonte is also the first driver to complete the NASCAR Triple Threat at the same track, winning races in each of NASCAR’s top three racing series at Martinsville.

Bobby Labonte is currently a full-time competitor in the Superstar Racing Experience, driving the No. 18 car.
