Filming of Aquaman 2 began last July. Information confirmed by Jason Momoa, who will be back to play the maritime monarch in this sequel. If nothing goes wrong with them the results will be over a year.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled for December 14, 2022, in the hexagonal rooms.

Has Aquaman 2 been Cancelled?
The second Aquaman film is slated for a 2023 release, with principal photography for the movie beginning on June 28, 2021. After filming in locations including the UK, Hawaii and Los Angeles, shooting officially wrapped on 12 January 2022 in Malibu.
Why is Aquaman 2 Delayed?
James Wan has attributed the delay in Aquaman 2 to the arduous work to develop the film’s visual effects. Fans should note that Aquaman will sit on the throne of Atlantis, which is underwater in the movie.
