Has Alex Belfield Been Jailed?

Former BBC radio presenter Alex Belfield has bagged a two and half years jail term, for allegedly stalking no less than four people.

His accomplice, broadcaster Jeremy Vine has also been jailed for five and a half years.

Alex who runs a YouTube channel, had allegedly harassed his victims online by making videos about them and urging his followers to target them to the point that one of his victims almost committed suicide.

One of his victims, Bernard Spedding, a BBC Radio Northampton presenter Bernard Spedding, was stalked by Alex for nine years.

Other victims were reportedly former and current BBC staff and this is not the first time Alex will be accused of stalking people.

His charges stated that he “pursued a course of conduct that amounted to harassment” of the complainants, which “amounted to stalking” and caused them “serious alarm or distress”.

He was found guilty of the offence and for each of these charges, bagged a two and a half years in prison.
