Harris English High School, College, OWGR

Harris English, an American golf professional who was born on July 23, 1989, is now active on the PGA Tour. English won four Tennessee team state championships while a student at Baylor between 2004 and 2007.

She was successful on an individual state level in Tennessee in 2005. English, a member of the Bulldog golf team who committed to the University of Georgia in Athens as a junior in high school, earned a business degree in 2011.

English competed in two Nationwide Tour events as an amateur in 2011: the Stadion Athens Classic at the University of Georgia in May and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational in July, both of which he won.

He joined Daniel Summerhays in 2007 and Russell Henley in 2011 as the only other amateur winners on the Tour. The competition was placed on the Scarlet Course of the Ohio State University Golf Club in Columbus.
