Hank Green is an American entrepreneur, educator, musician, and internet personality.

Hank Green was born on May 5, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Mike and Sydney Green but his family soon relocated to Orlando, Florida, where he was raised.

In 1998, he graduated from Winter Park High School. In 2002, he graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry from Eckerd College and an M.S. in environmental studies from the University of Montana.

One of Hank Green’s notable achievements is his co-founding of the YouTube channel “Vlogbrothers” alongside his brother, John Green. The channel, which was established in 2007, quickly gained a substantial following, and it became a platform for the two brothers to communicate with each other and their viewers through video blogs.

Hank is also deeply involved in educational initiatives. He co-created and hosted “Crash Course,” a popular YouTube series that offers concise, engaging video lessons on a wide range of subjects, including history, science, literature, and more. This educational platform has proven to be a valuable resource for students, teachers, and lifelong learners around the world.

Hank Green’s debut novel, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, was published on September 25, 2018; its sequel A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor was published on July 7, 2020. Both novels debuted as New York Times Best Sellers.
