An ethnic Bosniak, Medjedovic’s early connection with tennis started in his hometown, where he first crossed paths with none other than Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic at the age of nine or ten.

This encounter marked the beginning of a mentorship that saw Djokovic provide invaluable advice and financial support for all of Medjedovic’s tennis-related expenses.

However, it’s not just Djokovic who has played a pivotal role in Medjedovic’s career; his father, Eldin, has been a guiding force and a source of inspiration. Medjedovic acknowledges the significant impact his father has had on both his professional career and personal life, describing him as someone he looks up to the most.
