Born in Novi Pazar, Serbia, Medjedovic’s journey in tennis has been significantly shaped by the unwavering support of his father, Eldin Medjedovic.
An ethnic Bosniak, Medjedovic’s early connection with tennis started in his hometown, where he first crossed paths with none other than Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic at the age of nine or ten.

On 6 October 2023, Medjedovic achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 102, showcasing his rapid ascent in the tennis world. Additionally, in the doubles category, he reached a ranking of No. 1267 on 24 May 2021.
