Hakim Ziyech was born to a Dutch dad to who he was very close by virtue of being the last born and his mother a Moroccan, he is the last born of seven children.
By the time Ziyech was ten years of age, he lost his dad to a serious illness (multiple sclerosis). The death of his youngster’s dad was a very shocking event that made life hard for him and his family.
On 18 August 2014, Ziyech joined Twente for €3.5m, signing on a three-year contract and taking the number 10 shirt. On 5 October, Ziyech scored once and provided an assist in a 2–2 draw with AZ Alkmaar.
