Hailee Steinfeld missed out on the greatest night of fashion which is the Met Gala this year. The 25-year-old actress and singer, however, turned heads at the 2021 Met Gala which was focused on celebrating all things American fashion.

The 25-year-old actress and singer was just 15 when she first attended the annual fashion event. Stella McCartney, Donna Karan, Prada, Prabal Gurung, Michael Kors, H&M, and Vera Wang are among the designers Hailee has worn to past Met Galas.
The Met ball, also known as the Met Gala, is the fashion world’s Oscars. It’s an evening when designers, models, and Hollywood stars dress up in the year’s most outrageous looks to celebrate and raise funds for a new exhibit from the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Typically, everyone dresses by the exhibit’s theme and vibe; previous themes have included camp, religion, punk, and more.
The Met Gala was founded in 1948 by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert to raise funds for the Costume Institute. The event as we know it today, however, dates back to 1973.
