Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the American woman convicted of second-degree murder in the death of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard—who subjected her to abuse, forced her to use a wheelchair and feeding tube, and coerced her into falsifying her medical conditions—has disclosed that she explored relationships with women during her eight years in prison.

In the latest episode of Lifetime’s “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” Gypsy shared that her time at Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center, a state women’s prison, became a period of self-discovery. She reflected on her childhood crushes on girls, which led her to question her sexual identity, revealing, “I think I’ve kissed more girls than guys.”

Gypsy has only been romantically involved with two men. She was married to Ryan Anderson and is currently dating her ex-fiancé Ken Urker.
She also disclosed that there was a policy against masturbation in prison and expressed concerns about having a low sex drive. Gypsy also talked about how she has become more comfortable with her body as she has grown older.
After leaving prison, Gypsy’s sex life became active, and she spoke positively about her then-husband Ryan’s passionate intimacy.
