Greta Lee is an American actress who has gained recognition for her work in film and television. She is the daughter of Peter Chong Lee and Jane Lee.

Greta Lee was born and reised in the California city of Los Angeles. Her parents are Korean immigrants. She became interested in the performing arts while attending Harvard-Westlake School.
She attended Northwestern University after high school to study communication and theatre. She subsequently relocated to New York City to pursue her acting career.

Greta Lee made her Broadway debut in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2007 as high-achieving, bilingual honour student Marcy Park (replacement), and in La Bête as Dorine in 2010.

Some of her prominent television appearances include the Netflix series “Russian Doll,” where she portrayed the character Maxine, and the HBO series “Girls,” where she played the role of Soojin. She has also appeared in shows such as “High Maintenance,” “Inside Amy Schumer,” and “Chance.”
In terms of film, Greta Lee has been part of projects like “Money Monster,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and “The Tomorrow War.” Her performances have received critical acclaim, and she is known for bringing depth and nuance to her characters.
