Gregory Soto is a baseball pitcher who now plays for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Born on February 11, 1995, in Haina, Dominican Republic, Soto formerly played with the Detroit Tigers for three seasons, and became a two-time All-Star.

He had joined the Tigers as a free agent, before he turned pro with the Dominican Summer League Tigers, where he pitched to a 1-2 record and 4.82 ERA in 16 games, as the team’s primary closer.

Under the Tigers, Soto played with the Gulf Coast Tigers, Connecticut Tigers, West Michigan Whitecaps and the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
In 2017, he won the Tigers minor league pitcher of the year award.
In January 2023, Soto was traded by the Tigers to the Philadelphia Phillies signing a one-year contract worth $3.925 million with the team.
