The late Grand Daddy I.U, born Ayub Bey, was an American rapper, and a member of the hip-hop group Juice Crew in the 1980s.

Grand Daddy I.U is known for his high-end tailored attire, always appearing in public wearing a suit and tie. He is a prominent member of the early rap label Cold Chillin’ Records and debuted with his song, 1990’s “Smooth Assassin.
Grand Daddy I.U was born on 23rd August 1968 in Queens, New York but grew up in Hempstead, Long Island. Grand Daddy I.U died on 13th December 2022, at the age of 54. He had a height of 6 feet 2 inches, 75kg weight, and a zodiac sign of Virgo.
According to Legendary hip-hop producer Pete Rock, Grand Daddy I.U died peacefully in his sleep. Grandy Daddy’s representative, Raya, confirmed his death in a statement that reads:

“No, I am not okay. I’m devastated.”
“Anyone who really knows me knows how much pure love and respect I had for him and out of respect for him and his family, I’m staying quiet right now,” the statement read. “I do not need to post pictures nor stories to profess anything. I pray for a peaceful and easy transition.”
Much is not known about his family, wife, and children. However, it’s been disclosed that he has a brother called Kay Cee, who inspired his career. At the time of his demise, his net worth was estimated to be approximately $3 million, sourced from his entertainment career.
