Scottish footballer, Gordon Wallace has died. He died on November 13, 2023, at the age of 74. The cause of his death is unknown.

Gordon Wallace kicked off his football journey in the junior ranks, showcasing his skills at Penicuik Athletic. His talent caught the eye of Raith Rovers, and in 1970, he made the move to Stark’s Park. Notably joining shortly after another player named Gordon Wallace had departed, he quickly earned the moniker “Gordon Wallace Mark II.”

In 1977, a £12,000 transfer took Gordon Wallace to Dundee United, where he found himself reunited with a teammate who shared his name. Unfortunately, Wallace’s stint at Dundee United was marred by injuries. Over two seasons, he played 15 league games and scored three goals. Despite the setbacks, his time at the club added to his football journey.

Later Career Moves

Wallace’s football journey continued with a transfer to Berwick Rangers in 1979. Over the next eighteen months, he contributed three goals in 19 league appearances. A brief stint at Cowdenbeath followed, where he found the back of the net once in 11 league games. In 1981, Gordon Wallace made a move to Australia, joining the Melbourne club Green Gully.
