Gordon Lee formerly managed Port Vale, Blackburn, and Newcastle before moving on to Preston, KR Reykjavik, and a brief stint at Leicester in 1991.
His first role as a club manager was with Port Vale, where he spent eight years and managed 258 games.

Lee, a former footballer, spent nearly his whole playing career with Aston Villa.
