William Scott Goldberg, better known by his stage name Goldberg, is an American professional wrestler, actor, and former American football player. He is best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation and the WWE.

Goldberg was arrested after allegedly assaulting Brock Lesnar at WWE No Way Out 2004. Years before he beat Brock in under two minutes, Goldberg was handcuffed and dragged out of an arena for attacking The Beast Incarnate.

Goldberg is widely considered to be one of the most popular professional wrestlers of all time.
He rose to prominence in WCW with a long undefeated streak in singles competition from 1997-1998, became the highest-paid WCW wrestler, and led the company as its franchise player and public face until it was sold to WWE.
Following his first retirement from professional wrestling in 2004, he went on to work as a commentator for the MMA promotion EliteXC before it folded.
