Miller was scheduled to fly from Bedford to Paris on December 15, 1944, to finalize plans to relocate his entire band there in the near future. His UC-64 Norseman single-engined plane took off from RAF Twinwood Farm in Clapham, Bedfordshire, and vanished over the English Channel.

Helen Burger and Glenn Miller had two children, Steve Miller and Jonnie Miller, whom they had adopted.

It’s tough to know if Jonnie Miller is still alive because she isn’t very active on social media. According to accounts, Steve Miller is believed to have already passed away. Jonnie got married and established her own family.

Helen Burger, on the other hand, was in charge of everything following Glenn Miller’s disappearance, including his Foundation and children.

What a really sad shame, no one plays Glen Millers tunes on the media. I really liked his compositions. 馃槼

I loved his music too. It鈥檚 my all time favorite but I should love it bc both my parents served in the army in WWII. They were in Morocco then Livorno. My mother was a sgt in a communications platoon and my dad was a tank mechanic. They danced their hearts out to Glenn Miller band and it was really sad when he went missing.
