Glen Trotiner Obituary

Glen Trotiner was an assistant director who has worked on more than 100 feature films. He worked on projects like  Captain America: The First Avenger, Independence Day, and The Untouchables, as well as Mozart in the Jungle, ER, and dozens of other projects,

Glen passed away at the age of 65 on June 16 2022 in New York,  no further information about his death has been disclosed.  He is survived by his sister and niece.

Glen graduated from the Directors Guild of America Training Program and has worked on over 100 films and television shows as an assistant director and/or co-producer during his four-decade career, most recently on Morbius and Gotham.

He was also a co-producer on many of those productions and acted in Big Daddy, Jungle 2 Jungle, Freejack, and other films.

Trotiner was on the Board of Trustees of the Directors Guild of America Training Program for more than 25 years, the longest tenure of any board member, and also conducted seminars at his alma mater, SUNY Albany.
