Gillian Flynn received her high school education at Bishop Miege High School and graduated in 1989. She then attended the University of Kansas, where she earned undergraduate degrees in English and journalism. Flynn later attended Northwestern University and obtained a master’s degree from its Medill School of Journalism in 1997.
