Gilbert Gottfried Paid Tribute To Colleagues Bob Saget And Louie Anderson

Comedian Gilbert Gottfried paid tribute to late friends Bob Saget and Louie Anderson months before the icy hands of death grappled him by the neck.

Gilbert Gottfried who died on April 12, 2022 had earlier on captioned a photo of himself with the Full House alum and the Baskets star shortly after their January deaths.

The photo read;

“RIP Bob Saget and RIP Louie Anderson. Both good friends that will be missed.”

Barely three months after mourning his friends, Gilbert Gottfried passed away on April 12, 2022.

Gilbert Gottfried’s family announced his death;

“We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness,” read their statement, shared via Twitter. “In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children. Although today is a sad day for all of us, please keep laughing as loud as possible in Gilbert’s honor.”

Gilbert Gottfried was born on February 28, 1955 and died from recurrent ventricular tachycardia, complicated by type II myotonic dystrophy, on April 12, 2022, at the age of 67.
