Giannis Antetokounmpo started playing professional basketball in 2012. He started playing basketball when he joined the senior squad of Filanthlitikos in 2012. During the 2012/2013 season, he plated them in Greece’s second-tier basketball league, the Greek A2 league. He then signed a 4-year contract with the Spanish club CAI Zaragoza but opted out of his contract to join NBA.
