Who Is Giacomo Faticanti?
Giacomo Faticanti is a football midfielder who currently plays for the Serie A club Roma, as well as the Italian national team.
Faticanti was born on July 31, 2004, in Sora, Italy, and began playing football at age 6 with the Italian club Frosinone, before he joined Roma’s youth club in 2018.

On the international scene, Faticanti has represented Italy across all levels, from U15 to U20, winning national titles, and serving as the team’s captain at some point.
In 2022, he appeared at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Slovakia, and in 2023, he joined the Italian squad that participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
Faticanti ranks amongst “the 60 best talents born in 2004 in world football” by the Guardian.
In 2022, he was called up to the first team, making his professional debut, at the UEFA Europa League tournament. In the same year, he signed a contract extension with the club which will expire in 2026.
In 2023, Faticanti played with Roma’s under-19 team that won the Coppa Italia Primavera.
