The 17-year-old, born in London, took to the pitch as a substitute in the 85th minute, stepping in for the injured Alfie Gilchrist.
Acheampong has been a prominent figure in Chelsea’s youth setup since July 1, 2022, showcasing his talent as a right-back for the U18 team. This season, he has featured in 16 matches, accumulating a total of 1457 minutes on the field, and has contributed with one goal and three assists.
