The Minister reiterated Ghana’s dedication to upholding law and order and ensuring peace and stability before, during, and after the upcoming elections.

Mr. Henry Quartey shared these comments during a courtesy visit in his office in Accra when he met with H.E. Tamás Féner, the Ambassador of Hungary to Ghana.

The Minister advocated for enhanced collaboration between Ghana and Hungary, exploring training opportunities for staff of the Ministry and its agencies. He emphasized the importance of capacity building and training to improve their knowledge and expertise.

Ambassador Féner echoed the sentiment, pledging Hungary’s expertise and best practices in counter-terrorism, border management, and cybersecurity.

He reaffirmed Hungary’s dedication to strengthening cooperation with Ghana and exploring mutual benefits.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue discussions and explore areas of cooperation between Ghana’s Ministry of the Interior and Hungary’s security agencies.
