Georgia Preschool Teachers Arrested

Zeina Alostwani, 40, and Soriana Briceno, 19, are metro Atlanta preschool teachers facing child abuse charges after a live camera feed inside the school caught them abusing youngsters, according to prosecutors.

According to a news release from the Roswell Authorities Department, Zeina Alostwani and Soriana Briceno were arrested on Monday, June 6 after a concerned parent from Parker-Chase Preschool in Roswell, Georgia, alerted police last week.

According to the release, the parent indicated that they had gotten onto the school’s CCTV system and witnessed alarming physical contact between Alostwani and Briceno against many children in the classroom.

The police department’s video clip, which is a little under 80 seconds long, shows a group of pupils seated on the floor inside a classroom. A woman can be seen bumping another student in the back with her knee 16 seconds into the video.

The other instructor, who is sitting immediately in front of the youngster on the floor, appears to be pushing the child’s head back with her finger.

According to court documents, Alostwani was granted a $75,000 bond. Briceno was denied bond and is still being held in the Fulton County jail, according to court documents.
