Robert Riddle and Mary Ellen Riddle are the surviving siblings of the late American actor, George Riddle.

George Riddle began his career in the circus, but after he fell from the high wire, he decided to pursue acting as a full-time job. He appeared in his first onscreen film in the 1980 film Simon by Marshall Brickman.

He logged more than 5,000 performances as The Old Actor in The Fantasticks, the longest-running Off-Broadway play, starting with the musical’s debut at The Sullivan Street Playhouse in Greenwich Village in 1960.

Riddle was a member of The Magic Castle in Hollywood, raked in a collection of theater and film memorabilia in his East Village penthouse apartment, and loved cars and motorcycles.
Some of his movies and tv shows include Arthur, The Innkeepers, The Kitchen, The Sopranos, Inside Amy Schumer, The Trial of Standing Bar, The Pirates of Penzance, The Will Rogers Follies, and more.
Riddles also made several Broadway appearances including Fantasticks, Anything Goes, Stage Door Charley, and more.
