George Riddle Cause of Death

American actor, George Riddle has been reported dead by close sources. He died on Friday, June 2, 2023, after a long battle with duodenal cancer. He was 86 years old.

He starred in several movies and tv shows including The Fantasticks, Arthur, The Innkeepers, The Kitchen, The Sopranos, Inside Amy Schumer, The Trial of Standing Bar, and more.

Many people have expressed their tributes on social media and other platforms after his death was announced.

“RIP George Riddle who played Walter in S6 E15 ‘Remember When.’ Us fans will always recognize EVERY contribution to this great show, no matter how big or small,” The Soprano Club shared.

“Farewell to George Riddle, actor, comedian, circus artist, in Broadway musicals, and theater,” Fausto Fernandez also wrote.

Riddle logged more than 5,000 performances as The Old Actor in The Fantasticks, the longest-running Off-Broadway play, starting with the musical’s debut at The Sullivan Street Playhouse in Greenwich Village in 1960.
